Workplace yoga is a fantastic initiative for…well, every industry!
In corporate workplaces where staff spend up to 8 hours per day seated, Yoga can be particularly beneficial to alleviate back and neck pain associated with computer usage. In workplaces with more manual labour, yoga is beneficial in alleviating muscle tension – perhaps preventing another trip to the Physio!
Yoga is also highly effective as a preventative measure against injury. As you increase your flexibility and strength, you drastically decrease the risk of injury, particularly to the most problematic areas – the neck and back.
